I have a bunch of homework tonight so can't blog long. I was crazy and signed up for a mid-level chem class that's compressed into a 5 week semester. Ouch.
Quick thoughts:
What happened to Avril Lavigne? She was totally cool in a 'fuck guys'/punk-rocker/I'm going to go cut myself kind of way, and now her new song is about wanting to be some dude's girlfriend? And the video? It has backup dancers... If you're going to sing about how your milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, you damn well better be able to shake it. Bottom line: Little Miss Sell-Out, you're out of my book.
Cutiemish, don't worry, even though you don't record much anymore, you're still in.

FYI she married the lead singer from Sum 41. Maybe that has something to do with the attitude change.
Interesting thought, but I disagree. (and yes, I knew about the marriage) Now, I know those albums were a couple years ago, and I would have been understanding, and even grateful for a shift in artistic focus, but seriously, just look at her new(er) song. I'll stick by my label "major sellout".
