and..... exhale

Whew! I hope not quite all of you were holding your breath for a new entry, I just about didn't make it.

(quick fix: wow, someone just drove by bumpin Phil Collins. And by bumpin, I mean they must have had dual twelves... (puts fingers shaped in and 'L' on forehead))
As you all can see, my ADD has not improved.

So yeah, it's been a while folks. While there are several reasons that I haven't been writing, the main issue is as simple as I don't have a desk. I guess I could hook my computer up on the floor, but then again, I couldn't really, as I have no 3 prong outlets in my room. Supposedly this problem will be remedied, but while I might hold my breath for the next entry, I won't hold it waiting for the repairman. (a death wish for sure right there) It's a real pity too, because there was a construction crew working on the bottom half of our duplex this last week. And by working, I mean they had the walls gutted. What a perfect time to do electrical work! I was tempted to walk right in, splice a wire, and shove one end up the wall in the general vicinity of my outlet. Then I could have hooked up my computer, AND not had to pay for it!

Work has been pretty rough lately. Our old manager was canned, and while she was very unprofessional, it was kind of sad to see her go. Our new General Manager is an absolute Nazi. She has increased my workload by about 100%, but then insists on me never staying a minute late, which really doesn't fly with me. Now personally, I believe in getting the job done, and doing what it takes to do that. She on the other hand not only demands that everything be done, be done her way, and be done to perfection, but also done by the book. Got some news for ya' Lady, if you want shit done, sometimes you just have to turn your back and be grateful that your subordinates give resul0ts. I don't know, maybe that's just the residual Marine talking inside of me, but she finally took a day off, and you would not believe how much stuff I got done. It was beautiful.

Other than that, nothing has really happened. I've been playing a little xbox, doing a little babysitting, watching The Office and Battlestar Galactica... went to see Underworld Evolution (damn was she hot)... tried a certain VERY strong green liquor that is hard to obtain the other day. (That stuff was BRUTAL!) Other than that, I haven't done much. I'm thinking about getting a different job. I hate how a certain office supply store really sucks all will to do recreational activities out of me.
