rant:

I am absolutely amazed at the number of people who obviously don't use any type of spelling or grammar check for their Internet work. How hard is it? There is a spell check right here in blogger for all those blogspotters out there. And for you non-google people, you can all just do what I do: copy and paste into a new word document. Viola! Seriously, how hard is that? Do people even read what they write? If they did they would surely catch at least SOME of their glaring mistakes. Examples: today I was linked to a page and in the first sentence they misspelled college. I'm sure their place of higher education is appreciative of that. I went to another page and the author claimed to be a writer, yet they used absolutely NO capitalization. It was uniform throughout the entry, however, so at least they were consistently wrong. It went beyond the lack of capitalization, though, there were also numerous spelling and grammatical errors that just screamed at me. Please, people, read what you write!!!

I guess I shouldn't judge, F. Scott Fitzgerald had the spelling and grammar skills of a third grader... And I'm not perfect either. I frequently have run-on or fragment sentences, and I have no concept of how/when to separate paragraphs. I do, however, perform a spelling and grammar check on all of my entries, and also thoroughly read them several times.

Five points if you can find an error in this entry beyond stylistic choices. I'm sure I made at least one mistake.

Did you ever check out Blakestones blog, it was full of spelling and grammatical errors. Just look at his title, he even spelt that wrong.
