Well, I am in the middle of finals-land. My first one was yesterday, and I aced it easy, so that's good. I have my two hard ones tomorrow though, and a lot is riding on the scores of those tests.
Word of advice: Don't ever (even grudgingly) take an advanced 2nd year course without any prior knowledge of the subject even if there are no prerequisites and the counselor says your lack of knowledge will be absolutely no problem.
So yeah, I'm so screwed on that test. For our midterm the entire front page was a 20 point definition/explanation of some fundamental principles of visual communications. I was so utterly clueless I couldn't even fake it. All I could write was "Ouch, this is going to hurt." She appreciated the humor, but it sure didn't help my score.
Unrelated topic/query/rant: Since I've been doing a lot of work in the school computer labs I've been trying to listen to music to block out all the annoying people. I am having a hard time finding any decent stations that have a streaming broadcast. WTF? I remember in high school I would listen to all kinds of broadcasts. Why did they decide to abandon the wired demographic? Does anybody know of some good stations/sites that stream quality music that I haven't heard 500 times already (aka top 40 = local radio stations play list)? There's a station out of

Strangely enough, when I try to find streaming classical music, I have no problem. Go figure.

I plan on listening to the new album on the car ride home on friday, so I'll let you know what I think after that.
